How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Yesterday was 12 by time we locked them up.

18 eggs today.

One was very brittle and I fed it to the chooks - much appreciated by them!

And one is from my OEGB bantam Mrs LC - so that one will stay in my fridge.

That leaves 16 eggs for my egg sales.

Got 8 regular eggs, and 1 fairy egg! The ducks laid 6, and the chickens 3 including the fairy egg.

4 eggs yesterday, from Helmi, Brelly, Août and Juin!

Juin’s was a slab-sided egg, which makes me think that other weird egg must have been hers too. Hopefully it’s just because she’s starting up again after a long break.

22 eggs today, 1 was from my wee bantam, and one from my pullet Holly - her second egg so far.

4 eggs today, from Juillet (who laid in the run), Helmi, Brelly and Marzo

Marzo’s egg was huge, and rivaled some of Août’s whoppers. Probably a double yolker!

Laid another fairy egg? I she a pullet? It may take time for her reproductive organs to get organized but let us know if she does it again. We may have to call in the Educators for a consult.
