Well the girls had a record setting day today so I thought I would brag for them. 23/26 Not to shabby for pullets that started laying in november.

Wanna know how that works...?? LOL!!

Butternut my only laying pullet at this time, was going back and forth between the two coops and nestboxes, and finally settled in her night time coop (where I have never seen her lay) so I come home from Home Depot today and look in the coop and there are TWO Butternut eggs! LOL One was from yesterday and I didn't think to check this paticular coop and nestbox

2 out of 6 today but that's okay I got my first white egg today.
Finally the leghorns are starting! 20 weeks and 4 days.

Oh so many eggs I got 25 out of 33= 16 eggs to sale, 9 to put in the bator.

I'm overrun with babies right now. I have 36 in my middle bedroom and 40 in a brooder outside. I will make a trip to sale them in Pecos.
