There was one huge egg that I'm sure will be a double-yolker. It won't fit in a carton.

I just love those 2 egg omlettes that only need one physical egg

I have been getting about one egg a week from my 25 old hens. Things are looking up. 3 eggs two days in a row!! When the days get a little longer it should get better, and they are weeding my garden.

I've gotten 10 the past two days...usually ranges from 5-9 eggs daily. The coop I am hoping is going to be able to dry out this weekend, if it doesn't rain all weekend like it says

. But I guess that's this kind of weather tho..but it sure makes me crazy and it's a very messy job

but I love the girls so I guess I can't moan and groan to much? I'm ready for warm, dry weather!!

Still averaging 7 eggs a day from 13 hens. In the last month, they've ranged from 4 to 10, again with an average of 7 a day.
