How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

8/13 which is fine. I'm still collecting to sell for hatching eggs. I only have had one broody, but that's fine. I'm still getting plenty for my needs. I'm glad that they finally getting some money for them. I love my birds but they do cost a lot!!

Last 5 days.... 9,8,9,8,9.... nine girls.... proud of them....

7/8 again, for the third day in a row! Keep thinking they'll have a four egg day soon, but I'm not complaining! Two dozen in four days from 8 hens is good enough for me!

Averaging 8/12 this week. Up from 4/12 last week. 3 laying pullets and 9 hens, of which 2 were broody recently.

None so far today...Only have 1 hen out of 12 chickens that lays though...

1 Hen almost laying
1 big rooster
1 Silkie rooster
1 sick pullet (almost 5 mo)
1 Sick cockerel
1 cockerel
5 pullets (almost 5 mo)

So I get one egg a day for 3 days in a row, then nothing for a day...then one egg 2 days in a row...then nothing...

20 hens started laying dec 9th at 16 weeks old. they are now averaging 16 eggs daily
