Just 6 eggs from 8 hens today.
Southerlys, how is your hatch coming along?  Should be getting close now, right?

I woke up to her this morning at 4:30 and a day early but she's walking all over the place. 3 more have pipped and should be joining us soon.

I have about 30+ eggs cooking with 6 days to go.

4 from 6 but should get one more by the end of the day. Rainy days always make my girls lay a bit slower than sunny days. can't say I blame them!!! Can't wait until my barred rocks begin laying here in a month or two! that will be 3 more eggs a day to the 6 laying now!

Congratulations! How many eggs did you incubate? Does it seem like most of them will hatch?
I just put 20 eggs in my incubator. I have never tried to hatch eggs before, I hope it goes ok. I won't know until the beginning on May.
