I got 2 this morning. Not sure if they were laid yesterday or today =/ The guineas dance around the eggs and cover them with hay so sometimes I don't see them until they reappear =P

I got 21 eggs yesterday from my 23 RIR girls

I would just like to point out on the one day it was above freezing I had zero eggs. Zero. Then it goes down to 15 degrees and I end up with 2. Now I'm confused haha

lol that's funny! I have a little bantam hen that lays only when its above freezing. like, I don't need to check the weather anymore! =P

3/8 yesterday. And my 2 Easter Eggers haven't laid for 6 weeks now! I miss those blue eggs.

3/11 yesterday. Easter eggers stopped laying, an australorp molting. Those are chickens that I got this spring, and I don't get why they've stopped laying or molting, as they aren't even a year old. Most of the older hens I have are molting. Do easter eggers normally quit laying for the winter? I do supplement he coop with light.
