You can see some of the eggs peeking out in this one! Sloppy, snowy day here in NY, but the chickens still get out every day from dawn to dusk. The covered run has been awesome!

Oh I'm sorry, when I first started with my girls I was only getting 1-3 eggs a day so I had a plastic dish I collected them in. That went well until we got a ice storm. While carrying a partial pail of water in one hand and the little bowl with 3 eggs in the other hand, I hit a patch of ice. My feet went out from under me, I came down hard on my shoulder & hip & to my dismay the pail of water dumped all over me & my precious eggs hit the ground & scrambled. I now collect in a egg carton, they are at least protected a little bit.
