I actually had to buy eggs yesterday. My husband said it made him feel shameful to have to buy eggs yesterday for a cake when he has 11 hens but I pointed out that buying a dozen free-range eggs from $4 was cheaper than the $15 we make on a dozen fertilized eggs from our hens. We're just getting them so slowly right now we can't waste any. XD
