I have 24 hens on average I get 15 eggs a day. Couple days ago had a bumper crop of 22 eggs.

All this talk about the feed store chick temptation is cracking me up!!!!!! Soooooooo, the Big R on Trent got their chicks yesterday, imagine my surprise when I stopped by the Big R on the North side of town and they had no chicks and won't be getting them till next week?? Yes, I was sooooo disappointed. I'll go the the one on Trent tomorrow, they Got their shipment from Murray McMurray Monday and getting another shipment from Dunlap on Wednesday. They are getting BB red Old English Game Bantams in tomorrow, and I am going to get some. I only have Lulu, and plan on making a separate area for Bantams, so I need to grow her some friends.

From Murray McMurray they got, Red Stars, Speckled Sussex, SLW, Blue Andalusian, Ancona, Delawares, and Light Brahmas I don't know what all there getting from Dunlap tomorrow.

10 out of 11. Girls are all laying now, I sure there was 11 out there but I found remanents of egg yolk and broken shell so I think one got broke and eaten!

Some of mine had blood on them when they started laying but went away in a couple times.
