I knoww!!!! The broody is a bantam no idea what breed she is lol I have 2 silkies, 2 EEs, 2 RIRs, 1 blue copper maran, 1 White leghorn (best layer ever!) and 1 black australorp. Oh and another bantam that doesn't seem to lay. I'm gonna wait for summer time, see if she lays and give her away lol

I have a few that need to go down the road too!

Are these all adult chickens, or do you have chicks too?

This has to be record setting temps for y'all, is it?

I have not heard that we've broken any records. But I guess the big thing is that these temps are sticking for a while. 0° at night wouldn't be so bad if it went up to 30° or higher during the day. But yeah, I'm kind of surprised we haven't gone low enough to set a record.

Well I just checked and they did set a new record low in Lynchburg, VA this morning......but I couldn't find anything on our county.

How many chicks do you have, from where, what breeds?

It would be fun to give your broody a clutch of eggs! I love watching a broody do all the work!

I have so many chicks lol 27 3 week olds, 3 bantams, 2 silver laced wyandottes, 1 barred rock, 3 australorps and 6ducks.

and I got 3 eggs from my girls today! yayy
