I'm almost positive there are none in Washington state. In fact, I think there are only about 8 or 9 states that have a breeding flock and most of those are very small. Thanks for the quote directions! I feel that I would save a lot of space by multi-quoting, but could never get it to work, because I was doing it wrong.
I am not surprised that Washington State has extra import laws. Darn, does this mean I have to find a breeder in Washington, or someone who also has the Avian Flu certification to get this breed?
So if you are to far south to get the great lake affect snow, do you get the Pacific dry air once in awhile, the gulf of Mexico humidity and warmth and the East coast cold blasts? We got all of those when we lived in Texas, plus jet stream cold air from Canada once in awhile. I would never have guessed that Texas would be the state with the wackiest weather, but it was! We even experienced a tropical storm in San Antonio in 2009, followed by snow a few months later!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful complex.
