5 brown (Go Red Stars and Big Black Orp.......Speckled Sussex are slackers)
7 blue!!!!! Everyone laid an egg in the blue/green/olive category! Even the 2 Easter Bars!
2 white(go Leghorns)
1 Lulu (Banty egg, laid in a shed somewhere other than the hen house as usual)

This is my 700th post??? How did that happen?????

My SS are machines. They lay every day.

700? Probably my fault.

LOL.......your fault huh? OK...your punishment is as follows~do 10 push ups and 10 sit ups every time you exit or enter a building/house for 1 week....

Really, your SS lay daily? Mine are eating machines that don't convert the food into fresh eggs as often as I would expect. They came from Murray McMurray via the feed store. Where did yours come from?

Three hens but one is broody so only 2 eggs today. And these two hens decided to "drop" their eggs with me standing right there. Talk about fresh! LOL! I would be getting some duck eggs too, but I gave my layer to a lovely family from my church that want to get their own flock started. My other duck should, hopefully, start laying sometime within the next month or so.
