always good to have exact with our birds I call it at 11 and 2 silky yesterday but the girls are doing good 15 so far from main coop, 4 of 4 from silky land

WOW, I know, I said that yesterday. But for a different reason. Today I got the loneliest number. ONE, yup, the lowest number ever from my girls. BUT, I am not complaining, as I got 18 eggs the past 4 days, 24 for the week, 4 more than last week.
Blonde was in nest box at lockup, so could be another in the nest in the morning. It's supposed to stay in the 40s tonight, so should be unfrozen. GC

I am still lucky to get 3 eggs a day. Some days I only get 1. I hope they start picking up the pace soon. I can't keep up with my egg orders. I have standing orders for 3 dozen a week with a couple of other people wanting a dozen every couple of weeks.
Last week I was only able to fill 1 order for 1 dozen.

7/8 today....My girls got their Sunday peas and cabbage. That's their treat for the week. well, there is millworm Wednesdays but not as big of a deal.

I hope your customers are as understanding of slacking chickens as mine are. I have only 3 customers and one needs only 1/2 dozen per week. The 2 that take a full dozen haven't seen an egg from my girls since the middle of September. The 1/2 dozen customer has been waiting since the middle of December. The 6 girls I got in late April were SUPPOSED to make that not happen this year. Lazy butts.

But the girls are starting to get back in gear, got 3 again today. 2nd day in a row for Penelope who has been off since the end of August.

I was in the same spot a month ago now mine are giving like at least 11 a day 3 silky is most common
