9 eggs today! We haven’t had that many in weeks! Go chickens!

Zero. We’ve had 60+ mph wind today and all the bantys hid in the coop all day because if they stepped out, the wind toppled them over. All the tarps I installed around the outside of the run a few weeks ago are ripped to shreds from today’s wind.

3... sort of. Whichever of my girls has just started laying, has not figured out the nesting boxes. She "layed" her egg on the floor of the coop, in the one area that has PDZ, but no padding or pine flakes - so the egg cracked. It became a dog treat. I do have nesting pads and flakes with ceramic decoy eggs in the nesting boxes, but I also have little curtains over the openings. So, I flipped the curtains up on one end. Hopefully she'll take a peek, and get inspired
