How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

6 yesterday and 7 today (out of 7). We just made an egg bake tonight to use some eggs. Also I put 30 eggs this month in jars for water glassing/preserving. Hope to do 30ish a month so we have eggs this late fall/winter.

How does water glassing work, & how do you use the eggs after? Thanks!

I usually get about 1 dozen in the beginning of the season but 2 dozen when it's peak. I can get as little as 3 eggs ( usually the beginning ) and some days I can get up to 28 eggs. I have ducks so they'll try and hid their eggs and be sloppy where they lay the, so it can be in the pond, mud, behind their house, in a bush, stuck under the pond ramp... anywhere. I don't really have much things to do with them, we've already made food with them and gave some away to people I know... I'm not sure about selling because I don't want have trouble if someone doesn't like the taste or gets sick... I want to do hatching eggs but I'm also not sure if I'll run into any problems or if the ducklings get a bad home that can't/won't keep them.?

I did a lot of searching here first before starting. This is my first time doing it, so I haven't used any eggs but will use them in baking mainly in the winter. I found a lot of useful information in this thread:

I have a bakers dozen 13 yesterday main coop. Banty coop had one

**edit- got 7 and don't know who won because both their eggs where in the same box.
