Feeding sixteen chickens. Only four laying age. The four are one year old and only got one egg today. One of the four is with five week old chicks. Hopefully she will be laying again soon. Idk why my egg count is low. One egg every other day at the moment I’ve gone longer without an egg at all. Can’t wait for more to start laying! And can’t explain the lack of eggs. I’ve been buying eggs just to have them on hand

Yes. For sure! I have buff orphington hens and supposedly they lay 200-280 a year. That’s 800-1120 year/ 2-3 a day between the four. Hopefully they pick back up. I’m not sure if the change in flock size has affected them.
