Low egg production after the solstice is normal. Molt and less light affects
most . 20 hens I get 2 max right now/

I've had an average of 3-4 eggs a day for months with 45 chickens.

i got 9 eggs today out of 10 hens that should be laying at this time woohooo.

So far I have 4 .my bantam are the most confused
The seabright lays 3-4 a week, but the Mille fleur d'uccle and suspected oeg are laying 5-6 a week..the astralorp 4-5 a week, the olive egger only just started laying but has laid daily the last 5 the other 2 eggers 5 a week each..so far today there are 5..despite multiple nesting boxes of various sizes,heights etc they are laying uin one and generally from 4 am to 4 pm taking turns in the nest
There were 4 when I left with a new hen in the box
