The old hen who laid the thin shelled egg that cracked when picked up the other day laid a good one yesterday, but it has a rough texture like sand paper. Anyone else ever get 'sandpaper' eggs?

One of my hens constantly lays rough eggs. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Got one egg today, and don't expect any more. I blocked little Miss EE in a box until she laid her egg, so maybe she got the message.
