5 out of six again. I saw my brown leghorn looking into a nest box yesterday. Maybe she’s not too far out!

Girls only gave me 4 yesterday. This morning 4 are in there in the 3 nest spots, and one is super angry because my SF is comfy in her favorite spot. You would figure 3 spots for 10 would be fine…

So a new high, 7 out of 10 (still waiting on my Brahma, FBCM & EE to lay their first egg).

The mystery layer from two days ago was my Sussex. I stalked them all day to catch the new layer. I love that my Sussex, SF & Orp all lay a different shade & shape egg!

FBCM & EE are squatting, Brahma has darkened up red but still runs away when I put my hand over her.

“Chickening” is so fun!
