How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

4 eggs so, far.

Well my count was wrong for yesterday. I said 8 of 12. But i missed one yesterday making it 9 of 12. The one i missed was sitting in the nest box this morning broken from freezing. I usually check for eggs before going to work as i feed them their ferment and check eggs then come home for lunch and get the majority of eggs then my son collects them when he gets off the bus about 3ish. I check them again when i get home @ 4:30 and usually i make a quick head count after dark and check one last time about 6 ish now. This is our effort to avert having frozen eggs. So far we have only had 2 eggs we missed that split from freezing. All 12 of our pullets use all 4 open nest boxes. Which from reading here i think is kind of unusual? So far today we have 6 eggs as of my noon check.

I was lazy yesterday and did not make a visual check of the nestboxes like normal, i just did a camera head count check.

So far we've got 7 out if 11, but it's a slow day, Maybe we could get more.
The girls were doing good for a few days
