I think one of the ladies are eating eggs, I’ll investigate this week!

Ok hold the phone ! My son did the egg collection and count about 5 pm or thereabouts. I was looking at my coop cam and noticed another egg ! 13 from 12 pullets ? Is that possible ? Or did he somehow miscount ?

I’ve heard of it, however I also heard it’s from over feeding, I researched this as I think on a few days I got double eggs and was almost sure I had not miscounted.

I had never heard it could be from over feeding before. I always assumed it was some sort of reproductive issue. I've had a couple over the years who would occasionally lay two a day.

At the moment none of my ladies are laying at all.
