4 today. Galena kept complaining that there was never an empty nest box when you need one so added a 3rd. Last 2 days the eggs have all been in the favourite, not using the second one anymore.

i got 9 eggs today out of 10 hens that should be laying at this time woohooo.

I got 6 yesterday and 5 today from 7 young hens.

I got 6 yesterday and 5 today from 7 young hens. The eggs sizes are so varied right now even though they are all the same breed. I'm told it's because they are young and just recently started laying.

A whopping 2.

Three of my 9 hens are broody, all in the same box. The other 6 keep going in the same box to lay. I have to be careful with timing egg retrieval, because with 3 broodies, there's a good chance I'll lose a finger! Today my timing was just lousy.
