Why not just have him reach under the hens and take the eggs? Will they go Jurassic Park on him? LOL

I told him he could reach under the girls to retrieve the eggs, but I didn't tell him he HAD to!

I'm heading home tomorrow, so I can start breaking them of their broodiness.

If they're fertile I don't think I'd eat them. I'd scramble them and give them back to the chickens. They would probably be fine after only 3 days, but I would be too weirded out by the thought.

That's a good idea! I don't want to eat an egg that looks...well...you know...

Good news! Rahab is sitting on a plastic egg, so the two eggs I found today were laid today.

She was not happy about being removed from the nesting box...twice.

Well I found more but miss Raven is siting on them. That bantam nest we where looking for I found it today. We almost stepped right on it in the tall grass.
