I got 8 eggs again today, 7 in the nests and one broken under the roosts. I gave them a little wetted feed yesterday but didn't add any eggshells or oyster.
I ate 6 eggs today...

They are as of right now completely free range. They mostly lay in the two pots I set up as nests in the main coop or the two dog houses that I set up long ago for my cats. But sometimes they lay in the garage or in the tall grass.

I see. Mine free range most of the day as well, from about 9 am on. But they have access to the coop and nests, and return there to lay their eggs. Occasionally I leave them locked in the run all day for two or three days, just to remind them of their responsibilities, and I don't get any more eggs than I do when they free range. So I'm reasonably certain they are all laying in the nests, those that are laying anyway.

Doesn't look like we are getting any eggs today. I've got 6 on the shelf and at least 5 dozen waterglassed so should be ok for a while.

How do you freeze the eggs?

I crack them into a silicone muffin pan- one egg per hole. Then put the muffin pan on a cookie sheet and freeze. When frozen, put them in a freezer bag, removing as much air as I can, then wrap in aluminum foil. I write date and content on packag.
