11 (so far, need to check when I get home) our of 20. Some are still molting and some taking a break. And some doing whatever they want lol

I lost count but think it was at least a dozen…. I had three pockets full and the egg bowl, I was chanting ‘eggs in my pocket, eggs in my pocket’ so as not to forget or break any - though how I would forget a Dozen eggs weighing me down I wouldn’t know

Lol! I sing the same song! I sat down at the table once with four in my pocket and totally forgot about them until I got up lol

I'm about ready to walk out into the snow and check for eggs. I'll be back...

I'm back. There were 6 eggs waiting for me, which is good considering I really disrupted their routine yesterday, making changes to their living quarters.

I opened up the coop to them permanently, 24/7. I added another new roost inside the coop, and closed off most of the coop ventilation on the north, east and south sides. There's still over 20 square feet of wide open ventilation on the west side of the coop, so I think it'll be fine.

Then I tacked a sheet of OSB over the hardware cloth on the north side of the run to block the cold north winds from hitting the girls directly. There's still quite a bit of open space above the OSB for ventilation, but it sure screwed up their view of the backyard!.

2/10 today. EE still giving one a day, but everyone else is slowing down to every other or every couple of days.

Girls laid 3 today. The one was broken though. Not sure if it was my hand wearing a glove or it was cracked already. mmmm they are so good too!

I spoke too soon. Instead of getting 6 eggs today, I finally got another from the last girl. She was running a little late, I guess. 7 out of 7 today.

That makes an average so far this year of 6.5 eggs a day from my 7 ladies. Yeah, I'm bragging about my chickens!
