Today I took the last pill so I'm hoping it will me to reset. I posted a picture on a thread I started titled Show me your Christmas trees. It's not a picture of my tree but of the end cabinet.

I got 5 eggs yesterday
No more broody hen for now!!! This mean might be more eggs from next week, that is a big might be. I imagine I will make custard, eggs benedict, vanilla sponge cake

Since this past Friday we’ve collected our first 7 eggs. Total current per egg price $214.00

I hope you let your girls know that it is the love that they are here and definitely their cute fluffy butt, not for the eggs at all.

Welp…I haven’t had any eggs since the 7th. I believe my girls are molting. And then today, Sis pipes up and says she got an egg yesterday and one the day before, and never told me.

If counted the hrs input into the horses and chooks I would likely cry, all the ‘time is money’ thing would become reality.

As such I just live in happy oblivion to the true cost. Which for me is priceless

10, possibly 11 but someone laid outside the coop at some point and I saw a BJG horking down part of the shell.

Hopefully they keep up their momentum. I recently gave 4 dozen to people at work then boiled the last dozen. I forgot about Christmas coming up and how we need a bunch of eggs to cook with. Hopefully I'll have at least 5 dozen to work with by then.
