Yesterday it was 8 from the girls.

3 eggs yesterday and not fighting for the 1 nest box. That was magical as they fight every day for just that same nest box and ignore the rest.

But my girls gave us our first dozen day ON Christmas Day, what a lovely gift indeed

Yep my older gals were dong that. I have started everyone in a Vit D and Calcium supplement in their water a couple times a week. Very little sun here these days….

Those dark eggs look blood red on my screen, I assume they're really just dark brown? Which breed lays those?
