How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Which do you prefer? Ducks or chickens If you had to choose one?
That's a tough choice, since I love both. I suppose I would say chickens because I've had them longer. I really don't have a preference of one over the other though. The only big difference between them is the duck's and their water... and that's no biggie for me. 😂
Oh dear, I’m sorry I misunderstood. It’s so sad to lose them, whatever the age, but I know how painful losing them young can be. Even when you do your best, some things just seem like they’re beyond human control. I’m very sorry you lost her ❤️
Thank you so much. ❤️:hugs
She laid a lot of eggs so I think that played a part in her health. I do also think she may have had a heart issue.

@SkyAJK Did you fare well through the cyclone? Hope you, your flock and other loved ones are safe!
Thank you Winderdear for asking. We are all good.

The cyclone arrived late and weaken so we are having heavy and non stop rain fall instead of the horrid full force of the cyclone, so we are very lucky.
The heavy wind uprooted many big trees, many houses have electricity cut off and many areas are flooded. My home is ok, and my chickens are flooded so I have been put up temporary enclosures in my garage and shed. This is moving them in the heavy soaking wet rain every day and I am constantly removing poops as it stink up the garage and shed.
Early in evening I carry them back into their coops, their runs are completely deep in water.
We spend 6 hours queued up in our car to get 15 sandbags, it was from 2:30am in the morning and the queue was a 24 hours non stop. My car is making strange noises because of the heavy load, I drive a small family car.

Despite the rain, my chickens are still laying eggs every day between 3-4 eggs a day and they laying their eggs just wherever they are. Poor kids❤️

We are hoping the rain will ease tomorrow, I am praying for that.

I’m so glad the cyclone didn’t hit you at full blast! I pray the rain leaves you soon as well and that the flooding will abate!

6 eggs today!
