4 eggs today, from Juillet and the pullets

Juillet laid hers overnight from the roost bar, but her eggs have nice thick shells now, so it was perfectly good, and miraculously clean!

DH said only 10 today. It's been cloudy and raining for a couple of days now. Maybe they are not getting enough daylight?

Chicken, haha! She really is amazing! She's the last remaining of my original flock.
I've only had ducks since early last year.

Lately I've been getting 16, yesterday I got 12. Very suspicious......is it possible they might be laying somewhere else? I know I can have a few alternate days as they don't all lay everyday, but haven't had numbers this low. Or possibly the weather? Another round of storms due tomorrow night.....3rd or 4th time this week. Ughh...I'm not much for spring...

Update: Glad to report my numbers are back up to 16-19. Turns out it was also bad feed and not enough veggies. Didn't know until I got to bottom of bag. Sadly not the first time I've had this happen, but I caught it earlier last time. This time found huge moldy chunk in bottom of bag. Yes I did throw the rest away. Not buying that brand again! I've been doing a mix of the kambauch Henhouse reserve ( can only get certain size bags at Walmart, and one else carries it) and the nutrena brand layer pellets from rural king.

Slept late this morning sure was nice.
When the birds don't lay in the coop they like to lay in the bottom hollow of the hazelnuts .
10 last night again.
