How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

10 today! 6 duck and 4 chicken.

The winter solstice was two days ago for us southerners and I finally got an egg again today! I haven’t seen an egg since May 10th. I thought my pullets would be the first to lay but it was was from my 4yo splash Marans, a little small and rough texture but a egg is a egg

No eggs yesterday! It’s nice that they got the day off, but boy is it miserable outside. Heat index is 103°F-107°F for the rest of the week

Total of 10 today! All the ducks laid (7), but one egg had a very weak shell, it didn't break and spill though. The chickens laid 3.

SLACKERS! Not really, I believe the 100+ heat may have something to do with it, one a day which is more than I'm accomplishing in this heat.

My very first egg! I'm not sure which pullet laid it, I have 2 that just turned 19 weeks on Sunday, the rest are 12 and 13 weeks old. It was laying by the gate to the run, like it just fell out while they were waiting to be let out this morning, lol. Perfectly formed, a bit small, but I know that's normal so I'm not concerned.
