How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

10...but with this heat I am amazed they gave me that many. My thermometer says 111 degrees in the shade.

The past 2 days we got 10 eggs from 4 birds. 5 from 4 birds recently started after the intense heat we've had. Not an everyday thing, maybe twice a week. I say again, I don't need that many eggs!

2 from 6 chickens!! The one started laying a week ago and has laid every day. The other started laying yesterday. So proud

(8/7) I got 6 eggs. 2 chicken, and 3 duck. But of course another duck egg was broken so 4 laid. I also got some bantams shipped to me and there was one egg in the box!

(8/8) 4. 2 chicken and 2 duck. Another duck egg broke so that's 3 that laid...

(8/9) Total of 6! 3 chicken and 3 duck! No broken duck eggs.

(8/10) Only 3... 1 chicken and 2 duck. No broken eggs again.

Two. I know it doesn't sound a lot, but I've only got four pullets of laying age, and to the best of my knowledge, only two are laying as yet. We've been getting two a day for about a week now.
