How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Final tally is 13 eggs.

I got 6 egg/8 pullets with temps being a comfortable 35-50°F. I'm very pleased that one of our late layers (she was late by 3.5 months to her siblings) started laying consistently last week! I was quite worried about her, not only because she was very late, but since she started rapidly gaining weight prior to laying.

I got 6 today and one of the biggest eggs I’ve ever seen from a chicken! This girl normally lays a jumbo, 72-74g. She showed off today! I need to get her an icepack!

I'm at 2 but both times I checked a hen was in the box. 5 now

7 today...but I scrambled 4 of them already for breakfast

Still have half the girls sleeping with their chicks and using the soup ladle to reach in and gather the harvest. One today. I so wish the hens would not insist on laying in the broody nests.
