How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

My poor duck has laid 3 double yolkers along with one normal egg in the past 4 days. She needs a break! Currently up to 17 today with more on the way. My little buckeye who is coming out of a late molt finally laid today too. Three on the right are “to be determined” on who laid them but I have my guesses.

I’ve also all but confirmed with my own two eyes that a black pullet from an OE egg does indeed lay a green egg. But she’s on my cull list anyways because of her bigger comb and the fact her dad likely wasn’t my preferred roo (had already culled said roo from flock but apparently some of his goods were left behind). Problem is I’m 75% sure the green speckled egg I threw in the incubator on a whim is hers though I think it is infertile. Need to wait another few days to know for sure. Hoping to sell this girl with a handful of others.

Per the question about Darlin she's getting better now. I gave her some miconazole for the sour crop and yesterday I added a small amount of acv to her water. She's all perky now.

18 eggs today including the wee bantam hen’s egg.

Cracked the huge 100g egg one of the pullets laid last week, it was a huge double yolker. Made muffins



Have 2 clients wanting eggs (10 dozen) which is a good thing as my fridge was getting full!

I'm really happy that she's improved today. She's still walking around slow so I'm still keeping watch over her. I'm still putting the acv in her water and the miconazole down her. She's also been eating, not much but at least eating.
