How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Today was a whopper for us--- we got 18 eggs from 24 layers!!! we average 12-15 a day.

Getting better, today = 8/18 yesterday it was 6......most of them smallish pullet eggs and three big ones from the first layers.

7 instead of 8 the last couple of days. 10 GC's. 84 since Labor Day. Had the guys at work giving me a hard time about how much I enjoy my chickens until they started eating the eggs. The yoke has turned. Here my friends are a couple of dozen free eggs. Oh now it's when can I get some more? I foresee a retirement!
