Slow day yesterday. Only 27

My girls are just starting to lay (9/20/9) and I get on average 1 per day ---- I have 4 Buff Orphingtons. How long until I average 1 per bird per day..??

I'm getting 3 per day from my 2 RIR's 2 BSL's and 2 SLW. Apparently not all are laying yet. They are all over 24 weeks. I know the 2 RIR's and 1 SLW are laying.

When will the others follow suit?

I got 9 eggs today--the most ever. Have 3 Buff hens over 1 yr. old, 2 Buff hens 23 weeks, 4 Welsummer hens, 8 mutt hens--all 23 weeks old. Plus 4 Silkie hens. Some of the mutt hens are definitely laying, but not all. And they are laying in the hay under the shed, under the azaleas, and some are even laying in the nests. No Welsummer eggs yet.

6/14 still, no green eggs still.

3 out of 4 layers. Got a green egg today, still pullet size. I think it was the 17 week Golden Comet that took the day off today.
