Here are the stats for my 6 girls. Too bad 2 of them decided to go broody at the end of the month, same day, same nest. The RIR is out of broody jail now but the Australorp is a bit more stubborn.

Eleven eggs today--the most ever.

6/29 but only 14 have ever laid an egg. so 6/14 and 15 still need to lay their first... I don't expect that all of them will lay until January. My Ameraucanas are SLOW!

12/23 I guess the girls sort over did it yesterday with 16 eggs, so they slacked off today to keep their numbers at an average.

No! we don't want any over-achievers here now, esp. at this time of the year. Wouldn't want you girls to show off any at all.
