How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

5 for 9 I have 2 molting. One of my blue orps has gone terribly broody. . I don't think I have ever seen one so broody. Its a crying shame. I am going to have to leave here for at least a couple of months and can't have chicks hatching. I am going to have surgery probably in Dec. I have a house and hen sitter. She is a friend beyond all expectations. She even loves my hens. Comes everyother week for her chicken fix. Knows all their names. Gloria Jean

My GC Maran is laying HUGE eggs! She hatched on 2/21 and didn't start laying till this week but they are HUGE!

Half my hens are molting, the weather has been nasty, rainy and cold here in Washington (state). Today it was 47 degrees. Brrrrr! How are the rest of you Northwest BYCers doing as far as egg-production?
