25 today frm our 30 GC's!!! 4 of them were small bantam-sized but a lot of the Youngsters are now laying.

20 = 1 quail egg = 21 Eggs.

Weee I got 1.But I'm so happy.I have been getting about 2-4.Someone had been laying in a nest box and I never could figure if it was my columbian, one of my OE hen's or a sumatra.My silkie hen is same age as those breed's.They were all hatched dec 25th-26th.My Xmas babie's.Yep She was in there a while and I DOOOOOO have silkie egg's.My bator is full and have been collecting all the egg's laid for a few day's so going to set them tomm. so I should have around 12 egg's going in.Got some from 18 days ago ready to go to hatch.Wish me luck

20 from our 30 GC's today. Max, I think you're right about the heat. I went down this afternoon when the temp was about 94* to the run and dampened the sand good with my garden hose. They Gals were just miserable before but I noticed afterwards they were much better. They were also perkier and weren't doing the wing thing and the open beak breathing like they were doing.
