Another larger one and I witnessed who produced it! Maureen who began laying a few days ago...so now I wonder if she has been laying the larger eggs...not like the others who are still laying small eggs.

Still 5/6...I'm not sure who is not laying because all 6 of the sex links were in the nest boxes this morning while I was cleaning the run.

Maureen's egg was larger than store bought 'large' eggs!

And Goldie's egg today was a lil bit larger than the small ones we have been getting. Maybe the tide is turning!

ETA: SIX! went out to collect the ice bottles and found another egg...much lighter than what I've collected thus far...small...maybe from one of the SLW or BR or maybe the 6th sex link...hope to learn soon who else has joined the Layer's Assn!

12/25 today.. not all my birds are laying. picked up 10 1 year olds last sunday only a few are laying. they are adjusting to the new place. that and a few of my regulars are slacking too.

Three today, and it looks like another hen has started laying, so there is only one holdout. 3/5 layers, not too shabby.

37/61. The younger girls went on protest today as they all got their flea dips this morning, the OG's were the only ones to lay, they are use to the dips. LOL

Got back late last night from the mountains but I found 27 big brown ones from our 30 GC's!!! Tied the record for a single day's take!!! We I went down this morning before going off to work I gave them a large head of lettuce I'd chopped up as a reward. I think they believe lettuce is manta from Heaven...
