How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I dont know what it is about mine lately the egg production is way down! Im getting 2 or three a day and not much else! I have 7 hens

2 for 2 today, but has been 1 a day for several days. (It makes me want to do an endoscopy on their little feathered butts to see where are my eggs???)

My first day of 3 eggs! (Out of 3 layers) All 3 have just started laying in the last 2 weeks. Waiting on at least 2 to get started.

6/29 But 2 are roos and 10 are still too young to lay.

That's still only 6 out of 17 layers! This heat is killing my egg production! And at a time when I am being fooded with requests for eggs (due to the egg recall).
Oh, I hear the egg song! I have at least 1 more coming today!

26 from our 30 Gold Comets today!!! It's finally cooling down here in central NC. We had mid 80's today and the past few days have been in the high 70's and low 80's. Same is predicted for the next few days too. About time. I'm so sick and tired of the heat and humidity and not being able to go outside without coming in drenched through and through with sweat even after only 10 minutes. Can't wait for fall. Hope it's a long and slow one too.
