5/16 First five egg day

Looked like 4 from the Golden Buffs and 1 from a Barred Rock

had 9 but my girls are trying their hands at egg eating 6 were broken and mostly eaten

I got 3 out of 4 that are laying......15 more to go....mine are just starting out....

24 today from our 30 GC's!!!

got 4 eggs from 6 girls - we have one that's a perfect sphere - can't wait to crack it open in the morning... will it have a yolk? I thought we'd be up to our ears in eggs and begging people to take 'em off our hands - actually had to buy eggs the other day !(when we had company), now I wish I'd gotten more chickens!

I got 9 and one was a teeny tiny little egg. The first from one of my 20 weekers. It was completely round. The kiddos fried it up and ate it. Four whole bites!
