4/4 layers, those 12 youngun's HAVE to be getting close to laying. It is like Christmas every day checking out he laying boxes.

17/21! Way to go girls!!! With the heat being in the mid 90s and the heat index into the 100s, I'm so proud of them!!!! We're getting hit by Earl tomorrow, so I'm hoping the girls do OK and, more importantly, their coop is still standing by tomorrow night

Otherwise, I'll have 21 house chickens tomorrow night

I have two that have laid...one has laid 3 eggs in 6 days, hoping she gets to laying every day! The other laid one softshell egg and I'm working on that issue with oyster shell but she has not tried to lay again.

20 today, our highest total yet. One cage with 16 hens produced 15 eggs! The next batch of pullets just started laying. We have a total of 36 hens. Mostly RIR
