From no eggs at all since around October to 24-25 eggs in the last 1.5 weeks!!!
I've been free-ranging them[never did that before, they spent more time inside] and all of a sudden, my Jap/D'Uccle hens started lying and they keep plopping out eggs. Yay!!
I'm so happy I have eggs again, 24 eggs in about 10 days.

11/14-and it's -30 out there! Well, not in the coop-coop read -5 this morning with the heat lamp over the roost. Read about 10 above this afternoon.

8 eggs. 13 hens. At least 4 of my older hens are just coop insulators (retired layers), so pretty good for the dark dreary cold Pacific Northwest.
