How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

yesterday I got 16 from 16 hens,,today I got 17 from 16 hens,I collect my eggs close to the same time everyday, thats the second time in a month that has happened,I know I didn't overlook an egg the day before because I have 16 hens and count the eggs everytime I gather,I realize golden comets are great layers but is it possible for a hen to lay two eggs in one day?
