Today I got more than ever.....6 from 8...I am so excited!!

My chickens have just begun laying. Today I got the most eggs I have ever gotten!!! 15 out of about 48! Woohoo!! I am one proud chicken mom!!!

Averaging 6 eggs per day from 9 ladies! The 6 young'ns just started laying. My EE just gave me a huge one. Looks like a double yolker.

Making progress! 6/15 First six-egg day! I see another batch of egg salad on the docket in the morning! (Ugh. Still haven't done the dishes tonight though.) Oh well. Better do them now. I hate waiting until the morning.

The slacker was my only white egg layer - and also the most dependable - usually laying between 8:30 and 9:30 each morning. She deserved to have a day of rest. Hopefully she'll be back on track today, and maybe I'll have my first 7/7 day.
