How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Got my first egg today !!! Actually got 2 ( one this morning and this evening) . But I think the one this morning was probably from yesterday. Got my chickens a week and half ago and then got 2 more this past weekend. Maybe they will settle in and start laying a few.

Well, I've got one hen looking after a couple of 5 week old chicks, so she's off her lay. Then my silkie and my cohin both went broody a couple of weeks ago, we kicked them out of the coop and both were back to normal about a week ago. All in all - 3 eggs in 3 weeks! Still eating, pooping and getting up to mischeif like usualy though, just not laying! I'm starting to regret giving away my noisy Australorp X who was our best layer and never ever went broody. Sigh.
