How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

One! But its my first egg ever! It's beautiful. I'm so excited.

Congrats! I got one yesterday, thought I 1/4 today, turns out it was 2/4 intsead! I guess I can say that the first one hinted that they're supposed to lay, and now almost all of them are! The one from yesterdays on the top. memphis, they're probably about to all start laying now, how many chickens do you have?

1 egg out of 11 hens. Which its been the same for 8 days now, only one day had zero eggs.

But one is brooding 3 week old chicks, and I have at least 3 moulting, one chicken is 24 and a half weeks old and I dont think she is laying yet. For some reason my 32 week old bantams (have 5 of them) completely stopped laying exactly one week ago. There aren't any feathers from the bantams, only 3 of my large fowl hens are moulting.

Only one hen, an EE is laying.

I added a light to the coop about an hour ago, so hopefully production picks up.

8 nice big eggs today!
I cooked the butternut squash for them today and they like it much better that way, plus it is warm when I give it to them, it's been getting cold here...down in the 40 s overnight.

awww they do like warm foods, i heard a guy talk about "Hay Tea" in the frozen winter mornings, sounded good!
I'm gona have to try it! Yogurt mash was more popular then cold pumpkin today he he, it took em three hours to
demolish half a small pumpkin, but it'll make a good treat for the pen blues!
