How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

OK, so help me please.

I got 5 eggs today out of 3 hens!! Is that normal????

1 PBR, 1 BA, 1 Silkie

yay, the first time I ever got 2!!!!! Now only waiting on 7 more.

Today I got 3/4. It's only the third day they've been laying!
First day of laying got 1/4
Second Day of Laying 2/4
Third Day of Laying 3/4

Ha, ha, that means 3 or maybe even all of them are laying now!

Rhoise- that's an excellent idea! I bought a small pumpkin, cost me $1.75, but since I haven't had to buy eggs since July, I'd say they were worth it!

Had an 8 egg day with 11 hens of laying age.

I didn't think it was possible for them to lay more than one egg a day? But where else could those eggs have come from?

Been getting 2 eggs out of 8 hens a day since i got them on Monday, only 1 today, wondering it this is normal. All the hens are about a year old.

Got 4/7.. but one of my Golden Stars has laid the last two days and I haven't found the nest. She was showing me where it was earlier (she always does if I ask. Lol) but my daughter got hurt so I had to run off. Hopefully I get to them tomorrow before something else does.

Still waiting for our BSL pullets to start production. We got 24 pullets when they were 15 weeks old and now they're almost 22 weeks old so I'm thinking we should be seeing a few any time now. We're going on vacation next week and our neighbor is going to chicken sit for us. I told him he could have any eggs he could find. I see a lot of the Gals have started to develop combs and waddles and I'm seeing some fuzzy butts. I've also seen where they've gotten in the layer boxes inside the coop and formed nests in the pine shavings. They've not started the squat and shake when I walk by them yet, but in time... So maybe when we get back in a week or so some will be laying.

I got 2/8 but 5 are molting. I did get my FIRST Welsummer egg!!
