How many Eggs did you Sell today?

So, I am new to this egg selling thing as my girls have just recently started laying.

Are you mostly selling to family and friends? Or are you advertizing and if so where?

I am getting a lot of eggs and would like to get something for them with all of the work and feed that I am putting into them.

4 dozen today for $3.00/dz. I have orders for another 4 dozen tomorrow and that'll probably tap me out assuming we get at least 20 eggs today. I was out of work because of the snow and ice storm we had starting over the weekend and into Tuesday. The Gals were busy though and have been giving us better than 21 eggs a day in all this cold.

Kuntrygirl, I am in Opelousas, LA too (small world eh) and I'm thinking of starting selling as we have eggs up to our eyeballs.

What is the best way to go about it around here?

29 dozen! Wow! I think the hens are just so bored, with the grass all covered with snow and so forth, that they have nothing else to do.

"Ok, I guess I'll just go lay an egg. What the heck."
