How many Eggs did you Sell today?

Just sold 1 dozen duck and 2 1/2 dozen chicken eggs!

I'm having trouble selling mine. I sold 2 doz yesterday and 1 doz today, but there are not regular buyers. I posted ads on Craigslist now, and on the bulletin board at work. I am going to ask our favorite gas station if I can put one up there too....

I sold my first dozen today!

I've been giving a half-dozen or a dozen eggs to various folk at work, kinda like a drug dealer: first eggs are free, you'll want to buy some more from me.

I always give a dozen to my land-lady every now and then. She gave me permission to keep chickens! And I gave a dozen to my closest neighbors who SWEAR Carl's crowing doesn't bother them. The lady of the house wanted to know the names of all the chickens and she and her husband complimented me on my coop construction and how "pretty" my chickens are.

But now that four people at work have gotten eggs from me, they're showing them off as they leave work with the cartons (with the lovely labels I ordered from ADozenGirlz here on BYC), and one gal insisted on paying for her first dozen. Two other people have asked me for "the next dozen" - luckily I get 6-8 eggs a day and I have two dozen ready to go right now.

I'm so jazzed! While everybody is thrilled to get fresh, home raised eggs, the BIG selling points are Rebecca's green eggs, and Bernadette's really, really dark brown eggs.

It seem $3.00 a dozen is the perfect price, too.

sparkles2307... Just keep at it before long you wont be able to keep up with your customers orders, lol. I had a very slow start with my egg selling and now I cant keep up! Never thought the day would come

3 dozen @ $2.00 per doz. I give them to my closest neighbors and sell them at work.
